Fall Leaf Wreath

Picture of a child holding a fall leaf wreath project!

Thanksgiving day marks the end of the fall season and welcomes the winter season! In order to celebrate the season of fall with its amber colors and crisp air, Dreamers’ Palette presents the fall leaf wreath craft at RMHD. Utilizing paper fall leaves from last year’s fall art kit, the fall leaf wreath allowed children the opportunity to play with different colors of leaves as well as create their own wreath with diverse materials, including pompoms, fall turkey stickers, and glitter. Lastly, they wrote their thankful messages in the heart-shaped paper on the wreath.

Materials list:

  • Mini paper plate

  • Paper fall leaves

  • Thanksgiving-themed stickers

  • Pompoms, pipe cleaners, glitter

Production steps:

  • Paint the mini plate in fall colors! (Brown, red, yellow, orange, etc.)

  • Let the paint dry first, then glue fall leaves around the circle edge.

  • Decorate the rest with cotton filling, pipe cleaners, pompoms, etc.

  • Glue down a heart-shaped paper in the center of the plate.

  • On the heart-shaped paper, write something you are thankful for this year! The End!
