MISSION STATEMENT

Over time, children will grow to find courage, confidence, and true identity through art.”
What is Dreamers’ Palette about?
My project, Dreamers’ Palette, seeks to spread passion and wider accessibility of visual arts for children who do not have adequate resources to experience the benefits of creative expression. By providing specially designed art kits and holding workshops to provide helpful guidance and essential materials, children will be exposed to more possibilities for their future hobbies and careers, and be able to use art-making as a means to explore questions of identity and community.
What is an Art Kit?
An art kit is a one-stop-shop package for children to easily follow instructions in a mini pamphlet to create their own tangible artworks. Its intention is primarily to inspire children to create and explore art on their own and feel free to express their creativity in their own unique way. Throughout time, we hope that art kits help children learn more about diverse aspects of art-making and empower them to be authentic about their identities as an artist.
Ronald McDonald House of Dallas Partnership
In order to further expand the accessibility of art kits and workshops to those who cannot afford art materials and proper guidance, Dreamers’ Palette is partnering with Ronald McDonald House of Dallas (RMHD), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to keep families together while their children are receiving medical care by providing temporary housing and fundamental resources for a warm environment of living.
By partnering with RMHD, Dreamers’ Palette can provide an entertaining activity for a larger range of children to spend their time completing art kits and attending monthly workshops. As RMHD provides all needed resources and housing at no cost, all art kits and workshops from Dreamers’ Palette will be provided to families for free with the hope of giving them more creative activities while staying with the organization. This art kit will help kids easily gain access to art-making by simply being able to pick up art kits during their stay and participating in workshops in RMHD’s craft room. I really hope children who are interested in expanding their artistic abilities can gain more experience and have fun through this Dreamers’ Palette project!
Community Partners of Dallas Partnership
Dreamers’ Palette newly partnered with Community Partners of Dallas! In order to widen the impact of our handmade art kits, we decided to donate to diverse organizations with shared goals of providing hope through diverse experiences and thoughtful care. Community Partners of Dallas is an organization that makes a meaningful difference in abused and neglected children’s lives by supporting the work of Child Protective Services (CPS) in Dallas County. CPS caseworkers are the ones who deliver any of the items that CPD provides for the kids.
The art kits we produce and donate to CPD will be placed in the Rainbow Room, where all the supplies and donations the organization collects are organized and kept until delivery. There are a lot of kids who are passionate about art and want supplies that CPD hears about, and we are thrilled to help foster their passion! We hope those art kits being donated to CPD serve as little bursts of happiness and inspiration to children.
